Nosara Photographer for Couples, Elopements & Lifestyle
"Made slowly, in warm light, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Nosara has become my second home. After a decade of destination work in Mykonos and a couple of seasons in Tulum, I moved my winter base here for a reason: the light, the jungle, the quiet.
I shoot couples, elopements, surprise proposals, solo portraits, families and groups of friends. Whether you're barefoot on Playa Guiones at sunset, tucked into a wellness retreat, or celebrating something new with the person you love, Nosara gives back to anyone who slows down in it. We'll build the session around that rhythm.

My Photography Style
My photography style is inspired by movement, light, emotion, and the slow, natural rhythm of life by the sea. I focus on real connection rather than stiff posing, allowing moments to unfold organically in front of my lens. My direction is gentle and intuitive, creating space for you to be fully present while I capture the in-between moments that feel honest and timeless.
In Nosara, the combination of jungle, ocean, wind, and warm light creates a raw, grounded atmosphere. I use this natural environment as part of the story, blending lifestyle, editorial elegance, and honest storytelling. The result is imagery that feels effortless, sun-kissed, and deeply human. Photographs that don't just show how it looked, but how it felt.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When is the best time for a photoshoot in Nosara? Golden hour, which in Nosara is the hour before sunset, is almost always the best light. Playa Guiones faces west, so sunset sessions on the beach are especially beautiful. Sunrise is also a good option for quieter locations and softer light.
Q: What months do you work in Nosara? I'm based in Nosara from November through March each year. Outside those months, I'm in Mykonos.
Q: Do you help with posing? Yes. I guide you gently throughout the session so nothing feels forced, and most of the time you'll forget the camera is there.
Q: How far in advance should I book? During high season (December through March), two to three weeks in advance is ideal. For surprise proposals or specific sunset dates, earlier is safer.
Q: Do you photograph solo portraits and retreats? Absolutely. I work with solo travelers, families, groups of friends, and retreat organizers across the Nicoya Peninsula.
Q: What should I wear for my Nosara photoshoot? Natural tones like white, cream, sand, soft browns and muted greens work best with Nosara's warm light and earthy landscape. Breathable fabrics like linen and cotton, and relaxed silhouettes. Bare feet are welcome. I've written a full guide on what to wear for a photoshoot in Nosara.
Q: Can we do the shoot at our villa or rental? Yes. Many clients prefer the privacy of their own property for part or all of the session. I can also help plan a mix of villa, beach, and jungle locations.
